I think that's the best scene in a movie of all time. I can hum the score with surprising accuracy if I watch it on mute. But why would I do that?

I've just got a thing for helicopters, but they're both awesome.

When you say, "not chase scenes" do you mean because they're not always car v car? Or because there's no fruit stand?

Mad Max - Opening Scene
Road Warrior - Final 30 Minutes
Children of Men - Roadside Ambush/Interior Shot Scene
Terminator 2 - SWAT Van Chase
The Hire (BMW Shorts with Clive Owen) - The Z4 v Helicopter in Africa (Joe Cannahan?) or the John Frankenheimer directed 7 Series Diamond Smuggler One
T3 - Pet Medic Pickup Truck

And that opening narration is completely unnecessary. Might as well have started, "In the previous episode of Mad Max…"

No no, you got it all wrong. The Hunger Games = Lord of the Flies + Shirley Jackson's The Lottery + The Running Man.

Yes

I do not understand this idiom

So how are you guys spelling the more high pitched Alien alarm noise that starts up around 2:00?

If you think Predator is still the most totally awesome movie of all time, than 100% yes. It has way more in common with Predator than Predator 2, AVP,or AVP 2.

Fuck. I've been saying "Nuke for morbid" for decades…

The walk across the lobby scene (with 'Angel' playing) really threw me because I expected something considerably more disturbing to happen

"Bart vs. Australia" Hopefully it's just a coincidence that I love every episode with a Hitler cameo.

"Shake harder, boy!"

I'm guessing you consider Asians white?
