Ya, but to be honest, don’t let that fool you. During the many years (>5) that I owned my TL, I put less miles on it than I put on my Ducati in 1 year. Backwards, eh?

I find it amusing that solid and well built projects can be presented on this page and be met with “Don’t ever buy someone else’s project!” “Look at that seat frame bolt! It’s a grade 8 but the car is metric! where else did the builder skimp!?” “I can’t believe that someone would even think about putting a 5.0 Ford…
The SV didn’t have the power that the TL had, and thus was not wadded with nearly the frequency.
Good thing it’s got that Suzuki Tl driveline that you can get parts for at your local Suzuki dealership.
Close, but:
Ok, first, nobody cares about your R6, ‘brah’.
CP all day.
I love that e36. Ya’ know, they only made an e36 m3 4-door for a couple of years.
Plot twist, Corvette is a ‘79 L-48 with warped front and rear rubber bumpers; the houses are older, have a hitch on the front, a vin next to the door, and no interior.
A) My point was that projects take time, and reality tv shows that make people believe an LS powered 911 (OR any other project you can think of) can be built overnight are BS. Good work takes time, be it 5 years of tinkering in your spare time or a solid year fiddling every weekend.
Or many years because someone doesn’t have all the free time in the world to work on something.
Not always true, sometimes life gets in the way.
How are there so many CP’s?
This looks like a race car to me. Some might call it a “sleeper.”
I’m with you until the end. The interior isn’t bad. Ok, ok, ok..the drivers seat has some cracks but the ad says that the headliner has been replaced and all other interior mods are well thought out, clean and completed.
The cell being in the passenger compartment isn’t necessarily a bad thing (or “sketchy”). That fuel cell is airtight and far safer than the stock fuel tank that comes in the truck (which itself is only two thin pieces of sheetmetal away from the current location). Hell, it’s probably actually safer where it is than…
When using a shovel to remove snow from your roof, convertible or hardtop shouldn’t be an issue.

A) That was not “REALLY FAST”
I’m pretty sure that the owner is willing to sell the van (cheaper) as a rolling chassis/shell and keep the 4bt and trans for another project.
