@Shiryu: I know I shouldn't, but I always enjoy the game's intro.

I'd like to get a group of people together who've never played Mystic Quest, throw them in a room with no access to any kind of tutorials, and see who can finish it the fastest. I'm fairly certain it would be an entertaining competition.
@Slagathorian: Save the trees and kill the children.: I enjoyed it for awhile (enough to reach chapter 10 or 11), but after awhile the whole thing just felt tedious; I didn't want to engage with it anymore because I didn't care about story, characters, or even the potential to see what my characters ended up being…
I've said before that I work in fashion retail, and recently I got to thinking about character design/attire in games.
@AndrewRyan: I completely agree here. I'm not all that offended by the idea of doing a little reading if something isn't clear—but the fact that the narrative is practically dependent upon the database is a clear step backwards.
@The Sentient Meat: On one hand I kind of agree with your statement, especially when you end up getting grouped with people who don't know how to even play their class minimally in end-game like content (see random Heroics with "Shitty Tank Bingo").
@landonkun: "Bears derive their name from a football team in Chicago."
I considered renting it but got too damn impatient and just picked it up while waiting for Buffalo Wild Wings to finish my carryout order on Friday night.
@shibi: No shit.
@waclark57: What about NBA Jam - Michael SHODAN edition?
@OtakuMan24: I don't really get that combination. I would picture them bickering over whether or not to kill or arrest every perp they came across.
@fenderjerk: I seriously starting choking on my lunch when I read this comment. Pretty much amazing.
Sweeeeeet.
@Ubik! the Rat Parade: I've never much cared for trying to play Secret of Mana in multiplayer. My buddy always plays as the Sprite and it's damn near impossible to do anything when he's constantly casting spells.
@legendnthemaking: Maybe it's the fact that I'm rocking a solid bourbon-created buzz, but this completely made my night. I'd never heard it before.
@relic1980: I forgot—even more alarming is her assertion that lying is wrong, and that she would pony up every Jew she knew about if the Nazis came a-calling.
@The Forgetful Brain: On that same mark, I took "Christian Thought" to satisfy my requirement for religious/philosophical theory during my first year. That same semester, my friend took the 300-level of the course, which was essentially the same except for a much more intense reading schedule and greater exploration…
@The Forgetful Brain: Ugh.
@dowingba: I'd say invest in the new Fusion Proglide blades.
@The Forgetful Brain: Wait...what?
