@jayntampa: The problem, though, is that so long as it (Kotick's strategy) generates profits for non-gaming shareholders (who only invest not out of love for the product but for the profits instead), not much will change. There are certainly a large number of gamers who won't purchase Activision products on principle,

@fuchikoma: I'm totally with you. In fact, I think I'll go play Contra III just so I can get everything I need to know about the story before the game even starts.

@stopbanningme: Mine is a still from Total Recall. It's that moment in the film where Sharon Stone stomps on his crotch with those wicked high heels and yells at him for making her come to Mars, because she "hates this fucking planet."

@R0bster: At the Fresh household, we pretty much just spent the last week blowing through the first two seasons of True Blood (and we'll be starting on Season 3 tonight, I figure), but my true love as far as TV goes right now is Mad Men. It's really the only show that I'll watch right then, right there, when new

@mind in rewind: I've read somewhere that says he wants it, which confounds me a little. I agree with some of the football pundits; why would you want an award after the fact if they didn't think you were good enough the first time around?

@Shadowstep: I can talk a lot about some of these game series, but I'm curious as to why Final Fantasy is only relevant to the discussion in its PSone-current incarnations.

@Sam fisher's a aimbot: We're reading the "Sookie Stackhouse" novels in our household—which also means we're plowing through episodes of True Blood at an alarming rate...which makes me want to play V:tM really, really bad.

So yesterday on a whim I applied to Examiner.com as a "Video game culture examiner" for Cincinnati, and whatever the hell that means, I could probably use some ideas for exploration in my articles...Anything majorly pressing on your minds lately?

@VincentGrey: The one I applied for a few days ago was an MIT position with Abercrombie & Fitch. Lately I've been trying to research similar deals with other mall-based companies.

@VincentGrey: That's really cool. The interview I mentioned in TAY (in response to your initial thread, actually) didn't materialize today, but I found out information about the job that made me want it even more.

@VincentGrey: I'm with you, man. I may have an interview today as well (I have to make one last persistent phone call and really convince them I know my shit) for a management training position in a company that a lot of people love to hate.

@madammina: When I read "Godot," and having not played any Phoenix Wright game, I instantly thought:

@martinf1: Well, to be fair, lots of people groaned about the merger on the TechTV side as well. As someone who watched TechTV a lot, I was kind of incensed when all my favorite shows were canceled.

@MrScottyBear: I'm more of a Zeratul/Darth Vader duel kind of guy.

@Bawb - The One, The Only, The Builder: There would be toys involved. He'd be all over it. Hell, he'd probably bring in Star Wars characters for the prospect of more merchandise.

Fuck that noise.

@evanlemmons1: I use WordPress in combination with a cheap hosting account from GoDaddy.

I'm not a fan of this one based purely on how dim the color looks. Maybe it's the lighting, but this one just looks kind of washed out.

@joe.glass: Laike in Lunar: SSSC pretty much destroys everything when he's in your party.

@ackblom12: Hey now, I never once stated outright that I was a mature individual. It may have been implied, somehow, but perhaps too strongly.
