Al Unser Jr. crushed the competition with the 500i engine, which was summarily killed off by the series organizers. Read the whole story here.
The hatch release is right behind the front seat, by the B-pillar in the left rear interior panel. Unless someone is actually sitting in the back seat, you have to get out of the car to pull it. It was clearly put there because that's the easiest, straightest path for the release cable to follow to the hatch.
I've never been there but Vanity Fair had an article and pictures of it. When Vanity Fair covers your garage it's pretty safe to picture it as Cameron Fry's house ("It's very dark. And very cold. And you're not allowed to touch anything.").

Except it pre-dates the Evoque.

OK so when are we going to lean more about the people behind this car? JG is everyone's car hero but he's not sketching, designing, and building the car himself. How about some interviews with the key people behind the scenes?
F1 had its kickboxing too -
Finally! I had to scroll much too long to find this nomination...
That probably fell to Peter Brock, who did the designing and aero work on most of Shelby's race cars. I'm not sure about the 427 itself but the Daytona coupes were his.
