Funny, I was taught to drive courteously, follow the rules of the road. and to generaly not drive like I own the roads. Something the majority of truck drivers were spparently not.

I find it hard to listen to some holier than thou safety rant from a truck driver. Some of the most unsafe driving I’ve ever witnessed has been truck drivers. Their general attitude on the road is “I’m bigger, therefore I have the right of way, always.”

Those happen at stop signs. Not solid red lights. Become a cop and see how far you get trying to write a ticket for running a red light when the driver entered the intersection on green or yellow.

False. A red light does not mean “stop.” A red light means “do not enter the intersection.” Therfore when the light turns red as a person sits there they are breaking no laws by continuing through. You probably think a yellow light means “slow down” as well.
