I very much enjoyed having to guess why the hell Brad Pitt was commenting on this.

The Austen Cinematic Universe is necessarily limited by the limited amount of source material. If she’d had the good manners to have produced 50 years of comic books, we’d see a lot more Austen films.

As a person with Cerebral Palsy, I just want to say how much I appreciate Lizzo’s actions here. This kind of empathy makes the world a better place, especially when someone with a large platform that can be an example takes the time to do it. 

Not offensive at all in the US, way more offensive in the UK. Just because we share the same language doesn’t mean it all plays the same everywhere.
