Knowing the egos involved in racing, it was probably so the Porsche guys could show off to the other drivers and say, "Hey, look at our keys, that's how committed we are to racing and winning. You might as well just go home."

I have a pre-facelift 70-series with the inline-six diesel on my bucketlist. Sadly, California has effectively banned them all...
The wheels are coming off the wagon.
For the utter insanity surrounding its closure, Megis Field. It's the former default starting place in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and was bulldozed overnight by the Mayor.
Neutral: Here in Pittsburgh, I see a lot of MV-1 taxis. They're probably at least equalled in number by old Crown Vics. I've seen both with propane stickers on the rear bumper, which likely explains why the taxi companies can run big, heavy, vehicles with V8s.
Not sure if my last "I'm grey" posting attempt was kinja'd? EDIT: No, it shows up now...
Also grey. Have a grey, wagon, manual, bug-killing machine.
I'd own one. Under warranty.
I'm glad we've let software run things. Mechanical failures were way too predictable and easy to fix, or at least, work around.
Vent the gas fumes, I'd reckon.
Hey, Doug, is your Ferrari running?
Porsche has brought their ass-engined 911 into the modern age, making the car better and better over 50 years of development. I wouldn't be shocked to see current 911s surviving another century, and I bet Porsche will probably be still turning out new ones.
Generally not. People with Tourette's Syndrome generally have fewer tics when they are concentrating or otherwise engaged in an activity (reading, driving, video games, anything that you have to concentrate on). Depending on how comfortable this guy is with pulling wheelies, it may not be an extreme amount of focus,…
"Something is terribly wrong and I can't figure it out and I'll get fined from the city if I leave it sitting here much longer..."
I remember being very confused at first that the story wasn't being told from the perspective of "me", but once it clicked, it made a lasting impression.
Any word on how much radiation the drone picked up? It's not always obvious what is radioactive and what isn't, and even the small amount of dust kicked up by the drone's propellors (on some of the interior and potentially when flying near foliage) might make the drone "hotter" than it was before this footage was…
That was one of my favorite games. I played hours of it. I think I had every plane and every color scheme, or if not all than most of them. Great usage of storytelling.
I thought the engine died right at the end? Maybe from all the burning oil.
"I do believe he built the engine himself."
