There's no getting around the fact that dude does not look like a lady.

Now playing

This is wondrous. In-between Oliver Nelson's "Stolen Moments" off of Blues & The Abstract Truth, I've been spinning a lot of the early Prestige, Clef, and Norgran Getz was featured on. Cannot be beat throughout the decades. However, I've been obsessed with The Hargrove Quintet's "Strasbourg St. Denis" for the past 48

Law Student here, with a decent hand at copyright: Bobsplosion raises the crux point of the issue - they were attempting to sell excess fabric that was deliberately meant to be similar to a previously copyrighted design, ie, copy a protected design, and sell it for the deliberate reason that it looks like the

There's actually a ton of debate going on in the legal hemisphere regarding the relationship between parties in Kickstarter funding. The relationship is actually far less like venture capitalism, and much more like a traditional contractual relationship - ie - for X amount of dollars, you get this X reward in return.

This just made my weekend. I was always sad watching my brother play it on the Xbox that I don't have, wondering why the hell this wasn't out on the PC already.

It's the tag right at the end when he was leaving the first time that's the real issue in play here - the insinuation of spreading his e-mail around to everyone. That's the big no-no that she was probably let go for, the warranties made to customers about not distributing personal information are very paramount, and

Janelle Monae is a god-damned superstar. Archandroid was an incredible and thoroughly realised concept album, with tons of inspiration drawn from Fritz Lang's work. Unfortunately, "intelligent soul/R&B" has no place in the mainstream - really hasn't since Outkast's "Speakerboxx/The Love Below". In 20 years someone

It's the Eighties! Do a lot of coke and vote for Ronald Reagan!

I was sold at the video, but I was prepared to sign over progeny when he talked about Miyazaki as a major artistic influence. Serious flashes of Nausicaa & The Valley of the Wind in this beast - can't get enough.

Once again, my night-owl tendencies have paid off.

Somebody wiser than I in the great ways of anime can probably clear this up easy, but I always thought "hentai" was the earmarker for anime porn. However I read this article, and the show doesn't really seem to be porn, yet is classified as hentai. What's the dealio?

I'm not sure if it counts as a "magic system", but the the system that governs Contractors' abilities in "Darker Than Black" is very interesting. Like a variation on mutant powers from Marvel, Contractor's have specific abilities, (strength, flight, freezing, using their own blood as a weapon) but in return, they have

Hate to break it to you - but Paolini, in his quest to create a new universe with directly lifted, barely altered elements of other authors' story elements, lifted the magical system straight from Ursula K. LeGuin's "Earthsea" series. The concept of everything in the universe having true names, and magic being a

Just goes to show, if you hold out long enough, you'll always be thoroughly disappointed :P (wishing you didn't already have the one you have).

Maybe it'll be an announcement finally admitting how stupid it's been that they haven't been doubling all their Virtual Console releases on both the Wii-U AND the 3DS. I'm really tired of seeing these great, completely undemanding classics being shied away from what would be a perfect mobile platform...that and I just

She needs to learn early on that others will always take advantage of your mistakes - so EV-train the shit out of your team and get that S.T.A.B. spread ready for those bastard shiny hAxx0Rz legendaries on Wi-Fi Competition, 'cause they're coming for ya kid.

I'm serious, he's a modern Seurat - that above photo of the autumn colors painting unfortunately isn't being sold on his website, but I would pay good money for a print of that. Gorgeous stuff.

I'm by no means an expert here, but I followed the development of Knights of Pen & Paper. They're certainly a small little studio, but they've been good with updates and hitting their goals, and the products are quite fun (and even though they're 'pay to play', you don't have to spend a dime to enjoy all of the game).

You obviously haven't actually played KoP&P, or at least not very much, because you would then know (like everyone else who has played) that you don't have to spend a red cent to progress and enjoy the game to its fullest.
