@Defendant: Just because they play by different universal rules doesn't mean the joke gets flagged on the play. Also the BSG reference to Six was choice.

@Roklimber: Ha! I caught that too - that was a nice little wink. Too bad Quinn's True Blood character got all 'esploded. He needs to be in more of everything as far as I'm concerned.

I remain hopeful. I mean really, since when have we had anything really like, or as good as Aliens? Probably why I keep watching the damn thing over and over.

Luna Park - cold, vicious, beautiful, desolate, and packed full of plenty of mindfuckery.

Julie Benz remains absolutely gorgeous. Something about "so hot" and "heinie touching"

The confetti will dance around the shrine gates. The mailbox and the refrigerator will lead the way!

This is radical.

T-Cells + Time + corporate machinations = T-Virus?

@Graviton1066: I'm almost surprised Abrams has a hand in Undercovers - such a recycling of worn out ideas (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, True Lies, take your pick) and themes being explored by currently existing shows (Chuck). It'd be something else if it wasn't for the fact that the dead horse it's already kicking is only

@Brainiac21: Hey - better a threaded, complex narrative than a "monster of the week" procedural. Fringe was some of the best stuff on TV.

So is the more hyper-stylized look here going to be adapted into the HBO show itself? I suppose I was just expecting something pretty gritty and traditionally medieval - Kingdom of Heaven - Braveheart - than anything else.

I heartily look forward to channeling George R. R. Martin into my medieval Sim adventure. Misogyny, greed, murder - tally-ho!

The battle was over for me the moment I found out they were porting Secret of Mana, a childhood favorite that floods me with nostalgia, to the iPhone.

@reddingofish: Don't you remember the ride? It starts out all fun and campy, then takes a turn for the crazy.

@mindsale: I really enjoyed that PoP - and the worldbuilding/mythos here looks really grand. Looking forward to this one.

Is it just me, or does the sweet Anamanaguchi song on this level start out with primarily chip-tune, but slowly builds in the guitars as you move forward? I thought that was a nice touch.

@Pope John Peeps II: In my head I was all "Hey wait a second...this is stuff I'd actually listen to!" Then the Metric connection kicked in and my joy was complete.

There are probably a thousand far more courteous, less misogynous names to attribute to our lady in question, but it doesn't distract from the fact that les boss, well... hit the nail on the head.

I was looking for perhaps a few more exotic races, or at least ones that weren't just near-human bipeds. I hope they'll open up the galactic class gene pool as we further in.
