Art’s power fundamentally rests in its ability to communicate and express multiple things, some of which are even contradictory, all at the same time. I’m rarely interested in what an author intended to say because it’s entirely possible for them to fail in the act of communicating that message.

Why would a warrant be issued at all? I’m sure you can go to Virginia and find all sorts of crime that people wished was solved and pursued. Here is an alleged “trace” of narcotics on luggage...which has passed through all sorts of hands and storage...if it is indeed even her item at all. You can’t get a cop to pursue…

God, “trace amounts of narcotics” is such bullshit. They recently got one of the actors from Stranger Things coming into the country on that as well. Hell doesn’t 90% of US dollars cities supposedly have “trace amounts” of cocaine on them? Remember folks nothing is worse than microscopic amounts of narcotics.

I hate it when I stop at a red, in the left turn lane, and here comes a cyclist squeezing through traffic to stop in front of me, then cycle out into the intersection before the light even turns green just to get a head start. Then it turns green, and there’s a bike in my way.

I’m surprised this wasn’t mentioned: Cyclist, if you are driving on the road, you have to follow ALL the laws. That includes making a full stop at a stop sign and actually stopping at a red light.
