Totally agree with you about preferring ambiguous endings for shows. Not sure how you feel about the Sopranos, but I honestly credit the show’s lasting appeal (and so, so many essays) to the way it ended.

I really liked this show...until what I think was the final episode, where Jeff Daniels randomly busts out an acoustic guitar and proceeded to do one of the worst lip sync performances I have ever seen. I remember watching it in the living room of my house and praying that none of my roommates walked by.
