Wasn’t it hot as crap in Rio for the marathon? By marathon standards, anyway. I ran a NE marathon a few years ago where the temp at the finish was like 80 degrees (unseasonable for fall). That’s hot when you’re running 26.2 miles! I easily finished 15 minutes slower than I would have.

Well, first of all, the back-up was crap. She obviously had some idea of what she wanted, but apparently little understanding how little power laboring women have in these situations. Which she SHOULDN’T have to “understand”.
