Corned Beef....Timely and Tasty.

Yeah I was planning on doing my own, but now I’m thinking this might be a two week project because I’d like to do:

Corned beef and cabbage, tis the season. Grab some Guinness while you’re at it.

Sous vide and brisket were made for each other.

Sous-vide ribs were a crowning achievment. I can only imagine Brisket would be similar.

Gonna have to say CB & C, although it should be more than just dump in the pre-prepped package!

Who said anything about sous-viding the whiskey? I’m just going to put it in me.

A restaurant near me does irish nachos: fresh fried potato chips, cheese, corned beef & 1000 Island dressing... SOOO amazing!!!

Well, the first question always is, “will it?” — because if it won’t, then ‘should’ is moot. But Claire usually (always?) answers the ‘should’ question after the ‘will’ question.

I know that not everyone is a morning person (and I’m totally cool with that), but as someone who is, I did chuckle to myself when I read “The next morning I got up way early (7:30 am)...”

Just do what I do - start with an omelette and BOOM scrambled eggs!

Nah, you ain’t doing it wrong. Scrambled eggs are like jazz.... you can kinda do anything if you want. All comes down to taste.

I’m going to go one a little further.

When I plan to go on vacation, I give at least a month warning and I schedule a meeting with my boss to discuss any projects that I’m working on, as well as anything that might happen while I’m gone. I also work with my clients to set expectations and for them to plan for it.

amen. people need to get some damn perspective on what it means to unplug and take a true vacation. i would say that, thankfully, the overwhelming majority of us are in positions where email management can wait until our return to the office without any life-or-death scenarios coming to fruition.
