I DNF books all the time. I don’t care how much they cost, I don’t have the patience to read something that holds no interest for me, but I do think the fact that, in most cases, you ‘paid good money for it’ has something to do with not wanting to quit reading it.

This has been my philosophy for more than ten years now, but for the last two years I’ve been given “corrected” W-2's from companies after I’ve already filed my taxes with the original W-2 I was given.

I filed ASAP this year (after waiting for my M1PR to arrive on the last day of the month...). Filed on a Saturday and received both my state and federal refunds on the coming Friday.

My taxes are very basic (I can still get away with using just a 1040EZ), but the overwhelming reason for me to file early isn’t to get my money back ASAP, rather, I just want to get it done and out of the way. The longer I take to do it, the more likely I am to forget about it and end up doing it late.
