lol. Yeah, they breath on it with a car crusher and then a blast furnace! Aside from the occasional enthusiast, you just don't see Germans keeping old cars (or "oldtimers" as they call them here) on the road. It's rather sad really.

How is this different from Southern California?
I usually am willing to defend a little street racing as "innocent hoonage" on this page.... but MAN!!! This video even makes me say WTF. Out loud.
Come on, would you really expect the Hulkster to rock anything different?
I think people tend to be pussies on this front. I'm a normal 5'11" American. 180 lbs. Not fat, but pretty broad shouldered and beefy.
Hell, Trump having one is a selling point for me! (Now if only I can get my hair to look that retarded....)
That's good to hear. My main frame of reference right now is comparing a first generation CTS-V to an E39 M5. Yes, of course I liked the M5 better. Sharper steering and the interior fit and finish is light years ahead of the GM-Tuperware found in the Caddy. But BMW V8s are notoriously fragil and expensive to fix. It…
Well, it looks nice. I would call it "a sporty shade of beige".
Personally, I love the Maybach. It's like a Rolls for people that want to be less ostentatious. I mean really, unless your a knuckle dragging car bore like us, chances are you would not even notice a Maybach... you would most likely think it's an S-Class, or "a big Mercedes". It's like a VW Pheaton for people who have…
Looks allot like the current generation Mondeo. But fear not, these are pretty nice cars. We are running a shit load of them here in Europe as US Army Non-tactical Vehicles, and I have to say they are pretty nice. Even when powered buy the fuel of Lucifer, as all of ours are.
I'm an un-abashed BMW guy... But Caddy is filling my head full of fuck these days. Ever since the CTS-V, they seem to be building cars that are more driver oriented than the Bavarians. WTF?
No, it's just that the Germans tend to buy a new car every other year. You really don't see much of anything on the road that is older than 10 model years. I would say it's a combination of strict inspection laws, high median income, a "cash for clunker" policy, and the German's tendency to be extravagant.
True, but the LS is "everything" is starting to get boring. I mean, just because it's the best motor out there, and it's pretty damn cheap, and it's makes ridicules horsepower, and is dead reliable, and has the best horse power to weight, and... well, you get the point.
Honestly, at this point in my life, I would rather have a nice clean E28 for my daily. Either a 535iS or a 524td... Just so damn hard to find! Even here in Germany! I guess the big advantage of the E30 is the fact that they made so damn many of them compared to the fivers.
Some observations:
Take a deep breath.... this was pretty tame hooning. I didn't see them cut to many corners... at least not to deep.
My first car was a very VERY ratted out 1984 E30... a 318i, which was perhaps the least cool, and certainly the slowest of the US spec E30s. In 1995, it cost me $2000.
On the Duce and a half (M35A2)? None to speak of really... Having driven and abused them plenty, I will attest to their indestructibility. It's a little big and ungainly, but hell; it's not to be fucked with.
Hell, I'd be happy with this. Free oil filters for the next two years!!!! (depending on relative.)
It's a V6.... even with 300 HP, they still expected secretaries to buy it.
