I have owned something like 23 cars... only 3 were automatics. All three were cars I did not intend to own: a Chevy Sprint, a Dodge Spirit and a Toyota Corolla. (And the auto on the Sprint had to be moved manually from low to second to drive.)

Yes... though I would prefer to have a used one for $2000. This is what I bought. (Six years ago.)

First off, I love this car. I think the original boxy Supra was the best looking one ever made. Second, it's in good condition, so if I was looking for one, this would be the one to buy.

@mantaTM: We had one of those burst once (it was filled with water). Killed a guy. Funny thing was that one of my guys was joking just the day before that he wanted to go jump up and down on it! We were able to protect him from getting charged with manslaughter, thankfully.

Hmmmm... I'm thinking an E30 or a previous generation WRX wagon. I've had both. Both are reliable, practical, fun to drive... pretty much no brainers.
