I am a man, and I think that you are generally right. The sexual revolution has made dating and life much more difficult for a lot of men. A lot of men are considered inadequate now, when in the past, they would be easily married with children by now.

“Thriving” is probably accurate, “mainstream” is not.  But some of these terms are hard to really nail down.  Is the NHL “mainstream”?  Sure, but I can name 2 hockey players, which might be higher than average for the US.  Jordan Peterson is pretty famous.

I think that these men would do well to drop the vitriol and express themselves in more nuanced, thoughtful ways. I agree that they do often have very valid concerns, but those get drowned out by the vitriol.
