I am a 36 year old single man with no kids. I saw the headline and the first photo and I thought, “Can’t you just tell your kids to be quiet when you’re on a work call?!” And yeah, those kids are old enough to get it together. 1 and 4 year olds, as mentioned in the article, are not.

I think that the white man’s best move would have been to non-criminally and non-racially annoy the black woman after his wife gets into the car, and after the black woman says, “Say one word and I will beat your white ass too.”  Then, hope that the black woman get violent. 

The black family was clearly intentionally in the car’s way. 

He pulled a gun before the video started?  Hard to believe.  Did you see the entire video?  It doesn’t make any sense that he would have pulled a gun before the video started. 

He looks much older and worse in the video. 

“This is a situation that, had both groups been of the same race, would’ve simply been an “oops, sorry about that, didn’t mean to bump into you!”

I also don’t understand why the husband is charged.  This seems 100% on the white woman.  I really have to wonder if a white man pulled a gun while his wife idly stands around, would the BOTH get fired and charged, or only the man?  Somehow, I think only the man.  Being the man’s lawyer might be fun.
