I am a teacher, and I hate this crap because A) it is horrible, and B) it makes the profession look really bad. It is hard to imagine how a teacher could think this would be a good idea, but the truth of the matter is, similar things pop up on The Root every few months or so.

I know right?  I am really skeptical of a claim where she cannot “fail up,” when she could very possibly be this nation’s next Vice President.  Since her “failed” presidential campaign is the only reason why that is a possibility, isn’t that the definition of “failing up”?

You need to do a lot better than “American movies are shitty.”  Most all time classics are American.  Yeah, most.  Sure, the US makes some crap, but what country has a 100% quality rate?  Especially among nations which produce at least 5 movies a year?

Wilde might feel the need to promote the movie, or at least to not bad mouth it.  Also, she has to justify her choice to accept the role.  If she says, “I know right?  WTF?”  Then she looks like an ass for taking the role. 

Yep, and she is also highlighting the general truth that anti-vaxxers are overwhelmingly female. 

I am a man and I have the same bumble problem.  Women are non-conversant.  I am surprised that men are behaving like that.  I would still think that this is more of a problem for men, since men are expected to guide the conversation in dating. 

Did the fashion shows actually have more male viewers though?  Who actually watches them?
