I took a break from Freedom Wars today and booted up Vagrant Story on a whim. Dear God, where has this game been my whole life?

If anyone here has played the JRPG offerings that Steam has had of late, you better buy this. It's surely the best one of the lot you'll get on PC for the years to come.

i would sacrifice a new-born for a sequel to Arcadia. Hell, I'd be thrilled at a complete re-do. The game was as fantastic as anything Square ever released, it is a hall of famer.

While it isn't the best on the system, it's certainly worth $20. The graphics are sometimes jaw-dropping (especially the cityscapes), and the gunplay is solid with fun multiplayer. The story is meh, and a couple levels are odd, but otherwise fun. I'd say grab it.
