In Jet Force Gemini, right before you get to the very final boss, the game stops you and makes you find pretty much EVERY COLLECTIBLE in the entire game before you can proceed. I spent hours in 1999 trying to find them all but I never finished it.

Sorry, need to correct you on one thing. The PS4 Pro is more comparable to the $250 GTX 1060 in terms of graphical processing power, not the $400 1070. Both the PS4 Pro and the 1060 push out around 4 Teraflops. The 1070 can do 6.5 Teraflops.

I remember hating VII when it came out on the PS1. I think most of the people excited about this game never played the original. I think there’s better JRPGs (and better Dragon Quest games) that you could be playing.

The biggest reason to play most games on PC nowadays is to take advantage of an SSD to eliminate load times. Call me spoiled, but if I hit a two minute load time I’d just turn the game off.

As other commenters have already said, 3 and 4 are not backward compatible, though nearly every worthwhile game that came out on the PS3 has been remastered on the PS4, usually displaying at a higher resolution and a faster frame rate. Sounds like a $299 PS4 Slim is your way to go.

It was very obvious that they dodged exactly how powerful the Pro will be. The only line regarding power was that it was “More than twice as powerful as the PS4.” It makes me wonder if they did try to upgrade after the Scorpio announcement but couldn’t make it happen.

There’s a definite correlation between number of times I try to escape in RPG’s and how hard the game is. Unless the game punishes you for fleeing (Skies of Arcadia, Romancing Saga 2) in which case I never run.
