I am now dead inside.

It has to do with the quality of the emulation. Nintendo just wants a much more accurate emulation for their stuff, even if it’ll never be frame perfect. A 4.4 Ghz Quad core i7 still can’t perfectly emulate a regular NES, but it can get very very very close.

I’m happy about it. I don’t know how I would play it in front of my (currently imaginary) girlfriend otherwise. Fan service needs to die.

Vita or no sale.

It keeps coming to new platforms and I keep buying it....

It’s a bad $60 game, it’s a good $10 game. What I mean by that is if it had came out as a digital only game for 10 or 15 bucks, reviews would have been way kinder to it. It’s short and there’s nothing to do after you beat it but it’s a good way to spend a weekend. Go check it out!

So if I’m going to play a Level-5 RPG from the PS2 era, do I go for this or Rogue Galaxy?

In the spirit of that last comment, I’ll point out that his name is Gaunter O’Dimm, with two “m’s.” Hearts of Stone is fantastic, especially the ending.

Annnnnd PSN store is now down. I contacted Sony support and they were either ignorant about it or in denial. Tech had me reset everything on my Vita and finally told me to reset my router (which then disconnects you from the chat.) Nice move, Sony tech support.

The persona games are stand alone games. You can jump right into P5 without having to worry about story!

Let’s break it down:

If Kojima’s not spending millions of dollars to get AAA actors to shout “Rocket Punch!” or recording farts in the bathroom of the office to put into the game, I don’t want to play it.

I know I ask this about every 6 months or so, but I was wondering if AC Rogue HD is happening for PS4 anytime soon?

He said, commenting on a news article about another failed Kickstarter.

I’ll never understand Kickstarters, try as I might. Next time you want to gamble, go to a casino. Add least the odds don’t change there.

This wouldn’t sting so much if Atlus wasn’t being such an asshole, insisting the game wasn’t going to be delayed right up until this point. I don’t know if this is because of Sega’s influence over them, but Atlus needs to be truthful about this sort of stuff. Everyone in the game’s industry have been shouting that

I went and bought The Last Story at Gamestop. The clerk must have somehow knew I didn’t want to be sold a strategy guide, preorder anything, or hear about his opinion on the game, because he silently rang me up and told me to have a nice day as I left.

I don’t preorder games unless I get fantastic deal on it, and I never kickstart anything. Though to be honest, I’m old and still get cranky about DLC most of the time. The only DLC I’ve ever justified in buying was The Last of Us Left Behind DLC.

I WANT THAT SHIRT.

This was a time where alcoholism and homosexuality were considered mental illnesses.
