@avclub-a9e18cb5dd9d3ab420946fa19ebbbf52:disqus agreed about lori, and you're right rick just discovered a more efficient way of killing walkers with knives, but the guys have used knives and blunt objects to kill walkers before. One that comes to mind is when they are in a church and three different guys use gerber

that is probably going to be the case, as it is in the comic. but there seems to be dead bodies around that don't have obvious wounds. so can zombies starve to death too? The cops in the new episode, the dead guy in the car on the highway who carl takes the gerber gear from, they're dead but they don't appear to have

respect and dependence. in the comics they are also trying to build a community so they can have a semblance of normal life, you need a lot of people with different skills and different jobs for that.

I think rick mentioned the cold affecting the zombies, they mention it in the comics, some of the zombies freeze in place and others slow down but i think once the weather warms up they thaw out and its back to normal. I don't understand how the cops died, even if they got scratched or bit then they should be zombies

Half zombies that are hidden under things and can bite your ankles seems like it would be the number one danger. I was thinking that when shane was first sweeping the bus, he should have stood at the front and called into the bus so that anything in there could get up and stagger up the aisle towards him. If there is

@avclub-f979394c282f4c89bbd91e8ef5589479:disqus was the second zombie walking in the same direction as the car? i wasn't sure, the first one was walking away. that second zombie was also 18 miles away and we didn't see the whole route so i don't know if they went straight the whole time.

@john barley you're right. i actually also couldn't tell which direction the last zombie was going, the first was going the same direction as the car…i wasn't sure about the second one

you're right, especially with all the gunfire happening around the farm. the farm will be overrun at the end of the season though, its writers convenience that it hasn't happened yet…theyre just saving it for the finale or second to last episode.

I think thats what it was the first time, and the fact that they later see it walking in the same direction i think is supposed to be about lack of change. Both that the events in the episode didn't change shane's mind that he is better able to handle the world now than rick, and that he should get rid of rick and

the only cold open I can remember that showed us the future was the shane and otis episode. it was different in that there was no action in the flash forward, it showed the aftermath with shane shaving his head and staring in the mirror.

I think dale suspects (but he really doesn't have much evidence to base his suspicion on) which he passed to lori. I don't think rick really believed it, but he mentioned it to shane just to see what he would say.

Sometimes I feel like these reviews are mostly written before the episode airs. The same complaints each week to pad space, rather than discussing events in the episode. The complaints are totally valid, but they seem to be rather wordy complaints, especially since the issues aren't new and have been explained before.

good catch

"Lots of play for Mad Men as well…and unless TWD tightens up in the next 3 episodes, I probably won't be returning."

it is in the sense that rick and shane will argue about it to show the viewer what their personalities are like (simply who is the good guy and the bad guy), but i don't think we will see it go on for 7 episodes

I might be wrong but I think that was daryl. He hid under the zombie and then came and helped t dog. Or he might have thrown the dead zombies on t dog to hide him….he had cut himself badly and couldn't defend himself.

@avclub-dc7f42035d0b5d0ce42f21e5fcec6184:disqus is the boyfriend/guy we are talking about the tall guy that helped rick and hershel round up a zombie? I thought he was a brother.

@avclub-a9e18cb5dd9d3ab420946fa19ebbbf52:disqus im not saying andrea isn't good with a weapon, and I agree the people doing the chores should be the people who don't have other skills such as firearms. However, andrea shooting at someone wasted a bullet and could have attracted way more walkers. I didn't say lori

Lori isn't great but Andrea shooting Daryl wasn't excusable. They had three guys going out there that could kill it if it was a walker. She wanted to shoot it to prove herself, but shooting could have attracted many walkers….so she put proving herself over the group's safety.

They aren't married. They dated for three months and the sister was saying Maggie was acting as if they were married.
