I agree. I like Todd's reviews but am equally confused that someone could have thought season five was good.

The sister was there so presumably she have the ok. She was probably just happy Carrie was doing something to try to treat her illness. I think a better first step would have been actually taking her medicine regularly as prescribed, I don't think she has actually done that yet and it's probably a more reasonable

Saline. Travis knew he had the needles so dex has a dummy one. We are supposed to believe he is smart enough to think ahead like that, but not smart enough to kill Travis somewhere different.

Box was on the fridge and there is a toddler. He probably walks around eating it.

Agreed

She knows about Lila I think, she knows deb cheated on Rita. I don't think she has any reason to suspect her though. As long as we are talking about lazy cheap writing I have to say dexter being able to get to Paris and kill Lila was pretty cheap.

I think it was crap too, but the cops did know about the freezer room so I'm not sure it would have been any better.

When he killed Brian in his room did the cops know where Brian lived yet? Honestly can't remember

Even if it goes bad somewhere it can't take away from the first 10 or 11 episodes which have been pretty consistently good.

The school teacher from Maine didn't protect the hill with strange tactics, he led a suicide charge down the hill to keep confederates from being able to charge up. It was bush strategy, let's fight them down there so we don't have to fight them up on the hill we are holding at all costs. The teacher gave his life

I see you've played knifey spoony before

Thank you I was looking up the stories trying to match the title but it wasn't listed as "the adventure of…." where I was looking

I want to actually know what story it is so I can know the story without having to see the movie.

Agreed

Isnt Such great heights also a cover? I thought that was iron and wine, but maybe I have the order reversed.

Thank you

Not sure swords are a good example. Similar to how many people today haven't used a typewriter, it's just because it is outdated technology. Why would you get a sword if guns are available? Slavery or Jim crow would be better examples of widespread practices and institutions that are difficult to end.

Pretty sure slavery was a deeply ingrained institution in this country at one time.

I don't see muh difference in the formerly strong opposition to interracial marriage and today's opposition to gay marriage. The arguments are the same: against god's will/nature, bad for society, bad influence on kids which will make them think it's ok, etc. I also don't see mch difference between arguing that it's

She was probably referencing another time then because I think she actually got in trouble for that on Conan, I could be wrong though.
