Yes, Deathloop was by Arkane Lyon. Arkane Austin also made Dishonored and Prey, so that’s a still positive in my book.

Classic!

It’s been over 15 years since TES: Oblivion came out, and they’re still using that janky “modified” Gamebryo engine with the same bugs. I think it’s time they moved to UE5 or something else.

I literally only played P3P and MH on my PSP. It’s still my favorite Persona game.

Why do companies feel the need to reboot the name of their games? It’s so annoying and confusing, and you just end up referring it as Forza Motorsport (2023).

There’s a lot of companies that side with the political views of the Chinese government, because businesses want to make money in Asia. If you feel that way about Blizzard, then you better start boycotting the other companies too, and not cherry-pick.

At first, Deathloop’s trailers looked mediocre to me until I got to play it, and it ended up being a great game. I’ll just give Arkane the benefit of the doubt, and see how the game develops.

I saw a forum post about that player limitation and I thought it was a joke at first. I really don’t understand this restriction, because you can play 6v6 in NHL and 5v5 in NBA2K.

Some people don’t realize the main method of increasing power is through multi-star legendary gems, which takes money.

I’m really sad they didn’t use the Guile theme for his SF6 trailer.

That’s a trendy romper.

I really enjoyed the stealth mechanics and limited ammo gameplay in TLOU multiplayer. If they’re going the online survival/loot route, I hope they take some inspiration from Hunt: Showdown and Escape From Tarkov.

I think 1v1 matches should be okay, but with 4 online players in a game it could cause some disparity between one or more players.

I swear some people were playing online through demo test or early preview.

Has anybody done an analysis of the online multiplayer and netcode? That’s typically my main concern with Nintendo Switch games over wi-fi.

Mario Tennis Aces was awesome, but the player base died off so quick.

If Kojima is working on two projects, what is the other game?

Yea, people don’t realize the legendary gems are the true power grind.

The P2W becomes apparent if you’re gonna push the higher difficulties/rifts or try to PVP competitively. There’s a huge power gap in combat rating between F2P and P2W players, and it’s really hard to close that gap due to legendary gems.

I’ve noticed people that watch a lot of Twitch streams start talking like Twitch chat in real life. I had dinner with a friend I hadn’t seen in over a year, and all that came out of his mouth was “poggers” and “sus”.
