This is more indicative of Tolkein’s writing than the quality of the movie. You can’t kill off major characters in an adaptation of something when those characters play major roles later (this only works in GoT because there are literally hundreds of characters to fill the gaps instead of a small handful)

I feel like The 100 is being over looked and forgotten as a best show since it airs so early in the year. Season 4 recovered significantly from the season 3 missteps and was absolutely fantastic. Easily should go in over some of the 10 you have here.
