I think they’re just talking about older IP’s in general not restricted too 7. There’s a lot of good titles in their library that vould benefit from updates which despite the complaints about remakes I think it would be a great survice to fans.

A remake of Chrono Trigger for current gen and pc in the graphical style of Legend of Mana. New eras, many more intricate ways to alter history and and 2-3 additional secret characters. Keep the core story and gameplay just make the game more expansive then previously imagined and give it an almost romantic indie game…

I agree. With this series 1 is classic but 2 and 3 together defined the Metal Gear franchise as a unique concessive series. I’m not far into the Phantom Pain yet but I’m not sure it will hold up against either of those two. 2 and 3 set the themes and style almost retroactively defining what makes a MG game.
