This game list doesn't have me very excited for anything Techland puts out.

They showed in the stream people working on animations. They have like one animation in for zombies right now that are a place holder for the stuff they've been recording.

base building is what's going to separate this from the others. Instead of running for hours form town to town, just to be shot and all your stuff taken, players are encouraged to build bases with their friends, whether it be taking over houses or building your own. You can craft weapons, grow crops, fix up cars, etc.…

I mean it's nothing like SWG except for maybe the player housing, but I'm okay if they'd re-release SWG. I'd play them both.(not preCU though. That was worse than watching paint dry.)

They took us to each developer's work station and showed us what they were doing: building the world, character modeling, animating the animals, tweaking the vehicles, etc. Then they would check back in with everybody periodically to see the progress they made. I thought it was really cool.

The WarZ was shady as fuck from the beginning. This is an actual company with an actual engine capable of handling the concept. I don't think it's similar at all.

SWG is my favorite game in the world, and I'm happy with this.

Well since all three games were made by amateurs, it's nice to see an actual development team attempting the concept with an engine that can handle it.
