AWD with a conventional drivetrain would be a challenge, but a ‘through the road’ hybrid drivetrain could work. Conventional FWD powetrain up front with an electric motor RWD setup.  There are a few examples of TTR hybrid vehicles [Volvo XC90 T8], but they are expensive.
