I think that the most recent Honda DCT trans debuted on the ill-fated (IMHO) VFR1200F that launched in 2009. I say ill-fated because it might have been too much of a departure from the familiar VFR800 platform in terms of styling and feature content for the market to swallow. I don’t know what the sales numbers…

I have gotten 1st class upgrades for free - twice. It pays to be nice and unassuming.
