The leading teams uses dynos to tune their bikes. But they are cheap as far as race bikes go. A complete racebike rarely cost more than $3000. I heard it cost less than $15,000 to compete in an entire season. Top teams will definitely spent more, but the bottom feeders will get by with a small budget.
