I went with my dad for Fathers Day a couple years ago and by the time it was my turn (it was a small plane) the sky had become overcast and it started to rain. The awesomeness of the jump was well worth the 1000 or so cuts I got on my face and arms.

Im not sure that it would really add all that much weight as its got a big honkin Ferrari engine in that thing.

It is really beautiful but I would have hoped that they stuck with the pop up headlights. I know it's not aerodynamic enough when racing at night but it would have been a nice touch.
