Most technologically complicated vehicles can’t be remotely shut down by the manufacturer if you choose not to use factory bits or authorized repair shops. That is unique to Tesla.

I really like what Cadillac is doing these day. Being able to buy an American car that competes on equal footing with the Europeans & Japanese is awesome. They cost more than I spend on cars, but I would like to own one at some point.
