I will follow you! But I don't recommend following my boards of writing research or poetry contests. :) Here's me. [pinterest.com]

This whole debacle made me, like a lot of people, look closer at Komen's allocation of funds. Based on their promotional materials, I had assumed that the bulk of their money went to cancer research. Apparently they should change "Race for the Cure" to "Race for Education about Breast Cancer."

Yeah. Many sororities and fraternities are fine, yet I maintain that the system as a whole does not do enough good to outweigh the steady stream of abuse it incubates.

If the individual sorority sisters named in the suit are found guilty of abuse, what punishment would they face? Does anyone know? And would the university expel them? I would hope so.

Who has $355 to burn along with her own integrity, and for what purpose? These allegations are too specific and bizarre for me not to believe. As for hazing being requested by the pledges: are you seriously suggesting someone would request all the abuses listed in the suit? Please, try to be serious.

Yes. "Characters who are perfect, practical, and entirely consistent are just not funny." Or even likable. Or, hell, realistic.

Oh yes! Me too! But he reminds me a bit of Mr. Donovanesque, so.

Same here. She is wonderful. I love what she said!

Yeah, being behind a monitor can bring out the worst in people. (Sometimes it can also bring out the best in people, but that's another topic.) I use my real photo and a version of my name everywhere on the internet, to remind myself not to be a jerk...and I still let myself down sometimes.

Awww, Doublemeat reference. I adore you.

OHH. Well, obviously we don't wipe. That's a waste of trees, and we are environmentalists!

"Shitasses" continues to confuse me. Don't most asses shit?...Unless something is terribly wrong?

Antonym is a treasure.

What...what? That is horrible. How did she even think of that?

So, I am trying to lose weight and to become more fit, and sometimes I look for good tips, new workouts, and inspiration, mostly on Pinterest. So much of what I find takes this awful bullying tone, and/or assumes I hate my body—or myself!—now, and/or that losing weight is my #1 dream in life. A lot of articles also
