I think the horse in War Horse deserves a Best Actor nod. And the goose in that movie is a strong contender for Best Supporting Actress.

Aww! Our rescue pup Moxie looks a little like this dog. I think she is part JRT, maybe?

I don't know what O'Connor was going through, obviously, but I can understand looking for a doctor and for emotional support via Twitter simultaneously. It's like falling off a cliff—you scrabble for any little branch to hang onto.

I don't know a thing except about the 19th century/early 20th century ladies...I did a college independent study on them! They were so fierce, and I would love to learn more about the Peace Preservation Act and why the movement didn't survive.

Fantastic work all around!

It's clear from a lot of the comments on this thread that it is a complicated topic and different people have different feelings about it, for a lot of different reasons.

Now, it's not quite true that Japan never had a women's lib movement, is it? What about Toshiko Kishida, or Fukuda Hideko? Or the anarchist feminist lady who got executed? Of course, that was a long time ago...and maybe that's what you mean. I don't know much about feminism in contemporary Japan, just the historical

The writer of this card sits really close to me! I'm going to run over there and tell her she's been featured! I won't say her name, since maybe she wouldn't want me to, but she is awesome and hilarious. Y'all would love her :)

edited: agh, double post, dang it.

Hallmark!

No, it's not horrible. It's your decision. Infant formula is pretty good. Some people act like you're either breastfeeding, or feeding your kid gasoline. It's ridiculous.

Oh, I am so sorry. I wonder what goes on in the brain that makes that happen.

Seriously, that is just insane. I can't even understand why someone would think that, and I sure as hell don't know why they would say it.
