You're not serious, right? It's a difference like night and day. The game that is, in 3D, most like it's 2D incarnations is Prince of Persia, and that is still different.

And with the perspective the gameplay has been changed.
I liked Metroid when it was a Metroidvania, after it became a shooter (on a console!) i lost interest.
I use my ps2 controller. But the only time I use it is when I play emulations (and rogue legacy), don't see a reason to play other games with an inferior control scheme...
I thought Destiny was grindy, boring, cheesy crap? Not trying to provoke, but I thought that was the consensus, and it's played because people play grindy stuff... But I don't really know anything about it, I don't think I know anyone who has a console of the current generation.
Well consoles are not that much more or less than gaming PCs with a really rigid platform. That the software is also way more optimized is just one of those consoly-things. And the Steam Machines will get some of the optimization, but not all of it. Still consoly...
That people don't expect power from consoles is just a deduction from the fact that in the beginning of a lifecycle the consoles have the least power because of missing optimization and people mostly like the power of their consoles. When the optimization comes and the consoles are able to still keep up with all but…
And? The fact that games for usual consoles ALWAYS have to be ported and on Steam Machines some games have to be ported is a drawback how?
Nope. Linux is very important for Steam Machines. They couldn't adapt Windows however they want, they would have to update to whole new systems when Microsoft changes the main platform, it runs faster, it runs everything, the users can adapt it themselves and so on.
I don't understand why everybody talks about PC gaming in regards to Steam Machines. Highly integrated, unified UI, reliable standarts for Hardware and Software, all that sounds like consoles, does it not? After all, the whole Steam thing is just normal for PC gamers...
Clue, but not the Firefly game?
Ahm, copy protection isn't new, and ingame copy protection neither. That's why there are cracks. But a Headline like: "People pirating The Sims 4 without a crack are in for searching for a crack," isn't really any good at all :-)
And as we all know, vehicles can only be fueled by petrochemical substances, the same for plastic!
A lot more energy for a shorter time is still more energy. What you mean is power, and that's not what we're talking here.
Ok, you just want the best games of the last years, not the best PC games, got it.
Yeah, it's impossible to take fancy tales and fantasies as life models, why didn't nobody tell us, it's not like we're intelligent!
God i hope not. As fun as they are for a while, long term value is like with the Elder Scrolls games, nill.
Buhu. Console games from japan might die? I'm a PC player...
Pretentious. They wanted more continuity, so the new Link looked like the old one. They used an AssPull to connect them in story (and started story in these games). The reason Link seems so dear to many people is that the series is the most successful (and maybe best) series of action-adventures, and he is the main…
