Who is the target market for this?
Who is the target market for this?
I eat the Beyond Burgers and think they are the best simulated ground beef burger. I don’t understand why anyone would opt for ground beef considering the tradeoffs that I won’t go into.
Because many, if not most people who convert to a plant based diet do enjoy the flavor and texture of meat analogues and don’t really want a wad of vegetables as the main dish.
I make tofu fingers with the same breading and you can use the same sauce and nobody who eats at McDonalds and most people who don’t would know it’s not chicken.
I don’t know what everyone else is talking about. I love raw kale. I have a big bowl of it along with dinner as a salad and sometimes for lunch. So many dressings go good with it like Annie’s Goddess or Makota ginger dressing and sprinkle on some nutritional yeast and mix it in.
They’re overthinking it. I make tofu nuggets all the time that could easily pass for chicken nuggets. Same texture, same breading and everything. It’s funny because for years and years we used to accuse McDonalds of not using meat but now we don’t want them to. Anyway, I don’t like corn sticking out of stuff and making…
Good for you for making the effort. I don’t understand though why people are having so much trouble with this. Just replace the poultry and fish in recipes with tofu and in beef recipes, use seitan, tempeh or lentils. It doesn’t have to be that hard. Eat the same things you always like to eat, just substitute the dead…
It’s about time they did some advertising.
Still a far cry from American conversion vans of yore.
Of course the prices are going up.
I use the allergy line when eating out because servers and chefs do not understand what vegan means but they do understand allergies.
If I said I don’t eat at McDonalds because their food is garbage and they’re making the country obese and diabetic would that shame you into not eating there? Because if so, you should ask a physician about these feelings of shame that you so easily have.
Even the spoiler is meh.
The regulatory requirements in the US ruined diesel for cars and light trucks. Not just the DEF but the mandatory regeneration. I whined about Toyota not giving us diesel for years but it’s a good thing they didn’t because the party is over. Not to mention whatever bump you have in fuel economy, that’s at least how…
I just noticed that. It’s like the designers just copy and pasted that front from one to the other.
That’s a smart move. People gobble up that trim level. I’m guilty.
The DC snipers used that car in that same color. That could effect resale value.
Doesn’t make sense. There’s absolutely no reason to offer it. No competitor offers anything like it and as long as there’s no vehicle that costs less, buyers are forced to buy something bigger and presumably more expensive. And besides, this is Ford we’re talking about. They just went 7 years without any pickups…
Newsflash, neither can most half tons. Try to find a Tundra crewmax with a 6' bed. (They don’t make them)
F-450s don’t have flappy paddles but they do have tow/haul mode.
