Very well said @tedmorin. Handing password information over to anyone else isn't a good idea IMO. I see Web-based password managers as a security hole waiting to happen. It's worth the effort to devise a password policy that easy to remember but hard to crack.

Doesn't look bad.

I'd imagine this was complete long before Honda announced their error in making the Civic boring, and had no choice but to go with it. Perhaps they'll eventually refer to it as a "refresh" and announce another all new car in a couple years.

This is awesome! As another tall driver (6'4" / 220), I'm VERY happy to see even a small segment showing fit for a tall guy. Do this more!

This would have been my winner. I think I filled my shorts watching it.

An AWD wagon version of this would be nice. That red black interior looks really nice, but as another commenter mentioned, I worry about the potential for crappy Americanized seats. My next car will be something like the BMW 3 series Touring, Audi A4 Avant or TSX Sport wagon.

Can't help but think that it just looks like a modest update of the look that was introduced with the last Taurus. I don't think that's a bad thing - what I didn't like about the Taurus wasn't really the look, but the gigantism. This car does look interesting, but the engine/transmission line up is what will really

I have an HTC Desire. Generally, it's an excellent phone. I like that it's well built and feels very solid. And yet, I very nearly got rid of it not even a year into my contract. Why? Sense. Between HTC and Telus, I was forced to run WAY too much crapware on my phone. (sidenote: I really believe that Google

Why is my first thought that the waffle batter needs to have bacon in it?

Yes! Exactly what I thought of. It's not just the banana peeler - half the gadgets sold in a kitchen store can be replaced with a good set of knives.

I use this as an example of why watching users of a system is good for developing software requirements...

I can't say that I agree...

I've been recommending Sherlock to anyone who will listen. It's a great interpretation of the Sherlock character, and the relationship between Sherlock and Watson. Glad the second series will be available soon.

Don't folks using monitor stands experience additional eye strain? All of the ergonomic instructions we have had at the office made it very clear - the monitor should be positioned such that the top of the monitor is at eye height, not the middle. Home theatre crowds should be familiar as well, your eyes don't look

One of the principles of making a good user interface is to avoid introducing new devices that require the user to learn a new way to interact with the system. Borrow and evolve. Turning a page to close? That's ridiculous. Ebook readers allow you to turn a page to get to the next page. Why couldn't there be a

I agree with the distinction between the hardware and the accompanying service - not sure how well that will hold up.

IMO, headsets or headphones don't work. People will happily ignore them. Heck, people will interrupt even when I'm on the phone. The only thing that really works is to tell people to take a hike (in the most polite way possible). Work has to get done, you can't worry about hurting people's feelings. Otherwise,

I'd assume that what ever happens with the civic-based Acura the same will occur here, where we've had a Civic-based Acura in the CSX, and EL before it, for ages. My only thought on the car: It's the perfect vehicle for people who feel the need to over pay for a Civic. It just doesn't make sense. And yet, it

Great post! I think it's endlessly fascinating that the Toyobaru has caused so much discussion everywhere you go. Most of the time, it's arguing and posturing. Occasionally, there's a well written argument.

Anyone else think the flyby after the Agera driver gave the thumbs up to be low class? It was like they were fresh out of their Civic.
