If I’m flipping channels and come across a Friends episode, I have to watch it. That show underscores my highschool and university years. I remember one early episode, when they’re all playing poker, and Rachel is being a total jerk but Ross lets her win just because she really needs a win after sucky job stuff, and

This is happening a lot because all these tv shows pre-2005 were shown on fullscreen but taped using widescreen, so a lot of what we are seeing now is stuff they knew wouldn’t be seen when it aired back in the 90s. so everything about 15% on each side is stuff that was cut when the show aired

I guess jet fuel CAN melt steel beams. ; (

I had a boss back in the day who worked across the street from WTC at the time of the attacks. He was punctual as all get out, but his alarm didn’t go off that day. He ended up stopped in the tunnel before the WTC station and lived. Five years later, he died of the flu. The g-d flu.

It actually is funny. And the deaths are tragic. And the loss of property is unfortunate. Many people are able to have more than one emotion at the same time. Laughing at the hot pocket thing isn’t the same as laughing at the people who lost their lives, nor does it detract from their loss.

Mary Louise-Parker is so much classier than me. I’d be telling this story on TV with a comically large bottle of champagne and a mouth full of angry barbs and details about Crudup’s man parts and gross habits.

I’m generally a worrier, but one of my worst hangups is knowing that sometimes, life is all about chance. The control freak in me can’t stand that.

I’ve never rooted for her. Yeah, her parents are shit, but that story only takes you so far. By the time you’re our age, you need to own your fucking actions. I WISH people made excuse after excuse for my 29-year-old ass.

I clicked the link on the Amber Rose article, and immediately thought about my mom. When we talk about my dating life, she tries to convince me that I need to get with a dude with money. She suggests that I hang out at really nice bars where men with money go, rather than the dive bar. She has also told me, “It’s just

I think people really felt sorry for her when she was between the ages of 18-24. After 25, I think people just gave up. She’s pushing 30. Now it’s like, girl, you’ve had plenty of time and opportunities to change things around. She just doesn’t want to.

I was looking for her coke mirror...

If Oprah can’t fix you, you are an irredeemable disaster.

Raise your hand if you spent a solid two minutes or more looking for warped walls and furniture or other evidence of ‘shopping.

Remember when we were all still rooting for Lindsay? Yeah, I'm glad that's over.

If a pregnancy is planned I think it’s reasonable to expect a certain degree of commitment.

Also, damn, she and I have the same birthday. Exact same (4/22/86). And I’m from Texas. Am I Amber Heard? Is that why she’s unrecognizable?

She just gets better and better. I mean, I wouldn’t respect her any less if she did some endorsements (LET PEOPLE THROW MONEY AT YOU GIRL), but I love that she’s sticking to her principles about it.

jmsteve just explained it to me in the grays.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are like the Jackie Collins characters that Lucky Santangelo barely tolerates.

On Adele: she doesn’t need all the extra bells and whistles because she is extraordinarily talented and her vocal gift is timeless. The less talented singers/actors/life-brand ambassadors have their hands in many pots because they aren’t especially good at just one thing. The multi-hypenates probably realize that fame
