In the Robot Chicken DC Special II last night Batman brought this point up at Green Arrow's funeral.

I hadn't heard that. I only heard that New Line needs to start filming a movie version this year, otherwise the rights lapse.

Exactly what I was thinking. Please why won't anyone develop Y the Last Man as a TV series. It is too long for movie format and has a definite end so won't drag on until it becomes unpopular. The Walking Dead shows that they can do post apocalyptic landscapes on a TV budget.

I always chalk up the differences between the two in that they both attempted to stay true to the books they were based on and the books were very different from each other besides sharing the same backdrop of WWII and the same producers.

Sorry that wasn't an endorsement of the actress to play Mantis, just an acknowledgement that this could be where the character is headed. As it is Ming Na Wen portrays a better Mantis than Chloe Bennett.

Funny how Oliver seems to think Puck is a mutant. I assume he is referring to the original not the short-lived female Puck.

Now that you guys mention it, Skye as Mantis could actually work. Half Euro/Half Asian baby abandoned in a remote village matches Mantis' bio. The Kree ties and Guardian of the Galaxy ties could be worked in. If only I had any confidence that this is where the writers are actually taking this character.

Touche. I forgot this was Alan I was talking about.

It seems that for the back half of this season, Scott Gimple has taken the show good or bad back to its comic roots. The Rick/Korl episode, Abraham & Co. intro, The Grove and this episode stuck fairly close to what is in the comic down to shot placement and dialogue. The fight choreography of the Rick and Joe fight

Nothing was better than Hal Holbrook, who up until that time stole the souls of children to stay young, inexplicably shooting himself in the head to get off that piece of crap show. Meta taken to a new level.

Apparently it only takes about 8 months to learn effective spycraft.

But why didn't Spencer (Don't call me that!) just turn the chopper around and get the virus or cure back?

Was that a not so subtle allegory on the potential dangers of fracking? Who slipped this liberal agenda in me Strawberry Smiggles. I see demons comin'…demons comin'

Somehow I see this being the case. Joe clearly wasn't of a mind to share that queen sized bed he choked a fool over. See how each guy claimed their own car. No two people snuggling in a trunk for this crew.

BELIeve my brother, BELIeve…

Didn't Joe break the rules by taking someone else's claim on the bed. Hypocrite!

Definitely "The Road" and "Book of Eli" among others say it is inevitable.

I don't believe for one second that he knew Tara was a lesbian like Abraham did.

That scene where he is constantly droning on to Tara about inane stuff was hilarious. Tara must have been too tired to tell him to STFU already.

I am always reminded of Galaxy Quest when the actors openly questions the purpose of the obstacle course/death traps in the ducts of the ship.
