I worked for a guy who was very heavily involved in the Rotary Club, and I remember they made a big deal about eradicating Polio being their main goal. Apparently they were SUPER close at one point.

I think it's related to cultural appropriation/First Nations stereotypes.

Second hand baby stuff is awesome. We bought a lot of things on Craig's List (swing, jumper, etc.) used them until MiniDork outgrew them, and then resold them and got back part of what we paid. It was almost like paying a rental fee instead of purchasing them.
