No problem. Horrific either way.

Ah...I just made a similar comment about car seat safety. Should have read the other comments first. Oops.
I guess there's no denying I'm a stick-in-the-mud mum when I spent half that video clutching my proverbial pearls because most of those kids were not properly and safely buckled into their carseats. :/
This color wouldn't work on me...but why couldn't I find a maternity top this cute while I was pregnant?
Seriously.
As the kid who had the experience of cutting in line because mum was in a wheelchair, I'll say this.
We go to the local UU church. They mentioned Julia Ward Howe this morning (apparently she was a Unitarian). I thought it was cool that she wanted to have a day meant to bring mother's together to work towards never sending their sons to harm each other again.
That's a sad story. No sarcasm. Those little injustices can fuck with a kid's mind.
I live in Canada (Alberta to be precise). I think they have an option like this at ManDork's place of employment. And it's been great for us...BECAUSE it's always been really easy for him to pick and choose which option he wants to use when. Usually he just takes the overtime pay. But sometimes he'll do the paid day…
Your ex-boss must live a dark and joyless life.
I've used the before once or twice...but it makes me feel like I'm kicking the English language in the face very time I do. Normally I'm a fan of any alliteration but in this case, I think a different term would induce fewer cringes.
Some day, when we have more expendable income, I want to replace my ring with one that has both blue topaz and white sapphire (or CZ). My and my daughter's birthstone is blue topaz, and my son was just born this April.
You're making some (admittedly fair) generalizations here. I think push presents are a lovely sentiment from the non-laboring-and-birthing parent and believe me, I did not have presents thrown at me when I peed on a stick. I got a few things from my mum (a baby book, a couple of onesies and sleepers) and a few things…
I do have a hand-cranked ice cream maker...
Chocolate-sriracha ice cream?
Oh Ellen! Equality-based puns!
Did that too. :)
Replying to promote. Does Kinja work that way?
