So good. He has a wry sense of humor and a what-the-hell energy that is just delightful.

Thanks, Drake!
Thanks, mratfink. Related: My opening day tweet is "Crack bat roar crowd! Putting Yankee action. Boys WNYX! Team."
Thanks, Mr. P. You're a pip.
I loved The Class. Still miss it.
And thanks, Roswulf.
Yeah, agreed … I wrote at length on why Barney is a character and a performance that really affects me in last week's review. http://www.avclub.com/tvclu…
I pronounce it "him-yim." I also pronounce .gif with a hard G.
Thanks, MMSIC.
Appreciate the thoughtful response, ITA.
Thanks, GMcF — glad you enjoyed it.
I appreciate Todd giving me the chance to sum things up. I would love to read a different take by another critic — maybe Todd himself.
Thanks, m_t. Like you, I've been all those viewers in the first paragraph, to a greater or lesser degree, over the years.
And I'm TWO years late thanking you. Ha! I win again! (Thanks.)
Did a cursory search but couldn't find any info about it; if it makes a difference, this would have been in the late nineties, probably.
I have no idea what I'll be okay with and what I won't. It's not the plot point that will determine that, but how it's integrated into the show, and what it means within that universe. So no prejudgments.
Hey, thanks for proving a point I will make later this week in a 100 Episodes essay about this show!
Oh, that's wonderful to hear, because I think that I did pretty well on those. I hope you enjoy them (and the series, which is just exceptional).
