Or it's just, y'know, presenting the show from the POV of Rick & Co who have no knowledge whatsoever of the Saviours which then extends to the general audience.
But I don't care what you feel…
I don't take that criticism serious coming - as it usually does - from delusional fools who aren't actually paying attention to what the show is putting out there.
This was a solid ep. I enjoyed it immensely. Morgan and Rick finally talking about the Wolf was one of the best scenes and dialogue the show has done in a long while. It really needed for there to be a similar scene with Carol and Morgan. I think there is two problems with the writing here: 1) they haven't fully…
He let Rick live didn't he? all the way back at the beginning. How short would the Walking Dead have been if Morgan just offed Rick 15 minutes into the first ep.
Denise's life would never have been in danger if Carol had not been stupid. f the Wolf was fully rehabilitated (its clear Morgan was right and he could have been) then Rick & Co would have another excellent soldier in the fight with the Saviours.
Denise was only in danger because of Carol and her stupidity in allowing the Wolf to escape. Morgan's point was that people can be changed. Carol's was that everyone needs to die except who she chooses not to kill. Morgan was proved right Carol wrong by the Wolf's subsequent actions.
Denise was in danger because of Carol and her stupidity in allowing the Wolf to escape. Carol (and the fanboys) justification for killing the incapacitated Wolves was that they were monsters and needed to be put down. When it came down to it the Wolf showed his humanity and proved Morgan right. Even Carol now accepts…
why is your belief that something is 'dumb' an actual criticism? People do 'dumb' things all the time. But that's not even the thing here. Daryl did nothing that was out of character. plus his (and Carol's) leaving is perfectly in keeping with the underlying philosophy that the show is exploring.
''manipulation'', it's such a stupid criticism. You get it's a TV show where everything is completely fabricated to get some reaction out of the audience?? Some kind of ''Manipulation'' is basically the goal of every TV show ever made??
obvious troll is obvious. i don't rate you as a commenter enough to bother. I'm sorry if that offends you but there you go. lol
nothing remotely ad hominem and I'm not wrong. Just can't be bothered dealing with another av club troll. you think it's bad acting despite the clear argument that its direction which you haven't even attempted to deal with. so why would I bother…
your link doesn't work kinda like your comment. you are useless, you can stop now. kthanxbai.
Went back and checked again. Didn't miss any scenes. There were only 2. The one where it is announced by Ecbert. Judith doesn't have any dialogue and she is not focused on as if her reaction doesn't matter.. In fact just to hammer that home Athelwulf stands right in front of her and blocks her from view. I took it as…
Yes, I agree. at no point did I think 'oh she's really shocked and devastated' here. I was wondering if I somehow missed a scene after reading the review. She didn;t seem to comment at all and then there was that weird send off. I found her lack of reaction rather odd and fitted better with showing her desire to bed…
It was nice to see Harbard return, Ragnar's vision was suitably poignant and the fire burning scene was menacing but everything else was just stalling. This was the worst ep so far for me.
fuck off. I'll watch and comment on what I want. kthanxbai
I never said that. You can go away now, you re pointless.
I really don't care about the book and will never read the book. i'm talking about the show which has a shit love story designed to get the lead man laid.
