Almost a station wagon...but that back is just a little too inclined. Need to have a bit longer roof and a bit less rake on the hatch and I’ll be interested.

Well played. Take your damn star.
Well, given the overall trajectory of BMW design has been largely downhill (alternating between slow decline and precipitous fall-off) since the end of the Luthe era in the mid-90s, referring to the E82 as the best looking of the Bangle-era is still praise, nonetheless.
Unfortunately, the current BMW lineup (the van…
Hard disagree. The F22 series looks bloated and the front bumper looks like they were stolen from manga concept drawings for fighting robots.
The E82 isn’t perfect, but it and the E90 M3 were the best looking of all the Bangle-era cars (and certainly looks more purposeful than anything designed since).
Or at the very least, that front bumper cover and hood for my 128i.
I would like one now, please. I will take care of it, I promise.
Try putting three large dogs in the back of the Tesla Model S and get back to me. ;)
I’d feel a lot more generous towards Tesla if they’d sell a station-wagon version of the Model S (call it the Model T - for Touring).
It’s just looking into your soul and saying, “Drive me - you know you want to.”
(and the Xenon headlight option makes the headlights seem smaller and more proportional - but I know what you mean with the standard headlights)
Ya missed out on KG&tLW’s ‘LW’ (to be fair, it was a rather sudden surprise drop) and more importantly, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio’s ‘I Told You So’
I’d argue the E82 coupe was the best looking BMW of the Bangle era (with the E9x M3 coming in second).
Clearly ‘be best’ was just a suggestion in this particular circumstance.
Music Theory is just a theory!
If they had an electric Arteon shooting brake / variant / wagon with a decent amount of range (e.g. > 300mi on a charge) for sale here in the states, I would be demanding VW take my money.
I have this feeling that I’m going to die of old age before anyone (Tesla included) realizes there is a need for a standard station-wagon form factor EV. Yes, there were the custom Model S shooting-brake cars that a couple of different coachbuilders produced a few years back, but (a) they were one-offs and (b) they…
The Byzantine Empire eventually granted them territory near the Black Sea which they named New England… or did they?
I’ve got no excuse other than I skimmed / read too fast. Apologies to Elizabeth Blackstock for being a dunce.
[hangs head in shame]
Take your damn star, you magnificent bastard.
Yes please.
