Yeah I mean I totally get it. I’m an older gamer (married) and I can easily see time as a hugely valuable asset. I find I spend my time on modern games to, for lack of a way to put it, spend time not thinking about work and just “doing” so I can see how if you were hunting for a specific exotic then Destiny’s old

Agreed. It’s disappointing because as an xbox one owner I feel less inclined to promote the game and word of mouth promotion is still a pretty big deal in the gaming culture.

Which is true but I guess it really boils down to what defines earning. If earning is defined as you must do X specifically to get Y, then I can certainly see the lack of value added by a game with a lot of RNG which Destiny was, and Diablo and Borderlands. But then again if earning is paying a price, and time is that

Actually I did. Thorn came at the end of a pretty intense quest line, and as a non PvP player it was a heck of a challenge. For whatever reason I just never got into multiplayer games like that so shooting at a real player for me is way different (I also always ended up with Auto Rifles which I hate). Same for most of

No Red Death is totally useful. It will do less damage but headshots are headshots AND that healing perk has saved my life on numerous occasions.

Yeah I hate games that make me replace stuff I get with better stuff. I mean I have ONE rocket launcher shouldn’t I just go ahead and keep that forever? I also hate having to try to improve my character so we should do away with that too. I also hate having to figure stuff out so they should have your ghost just tell

I agree it’s a real shame that it’s perpetual. As an xbox one owner and a fan of the game it bothers me that I’m missing on things just because I picked a different console, and frankly there isn’t enough out there to justify buying both.

Personally I’m a start from the beginning guy. People will always find things to hate about this game, whether it’s a grind/repetitive, or I got X and now it’s no good anymore, or I miss my I win button and now I’m not the best at a game or boo hoo story, or boo hoo too much story (for the record most games people say

Probably not worth using the Spark of Light you get (That gets you to 25 instantly and gives you 25 equivalent gear). You can probably blitz through the 2 DLC packs of content really quickly though.

Oh absolutely. That’s why my group, which deals with all the university’s online courses switched to Instructure’s Canvas about 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. They’ve been hemorrhaging marketshare because people are so fed up with their business model

Ah OK. Sorry for misunderstanding. I can see how it can be a bit easier to have a ecosystem buy in over a piecemeal approach many others enjoy. Personally I always value the functionality of the device over its interoperability.

I gotta disagree with the reduced support issues a bit (not a lot but a bit). I work for a University and 90% of our problem issues have to do with some of our stuff not playing nicely with tablet products. Using something like Blackboard 9.1 on a mobile browser can be very hit or miss at best and try as we might

Have you never played an MMO? Or any RPG that has expansions. When The Burning Crusade came out I had a full Tier 2 Raid set that got almost completely replaced in 3-4 levels because the stats on quest greens were just plain better.

Is there a quote or an article that says that ALL exotics were coming forward? I knew they said no to the current round of Legendaries but I never heard anything about Exotics.

That’s cool. Linux is a lot of fun. I have it on a couple of machines at home. Personally I don’t really care either way (about data collection personally. That’s not a dismissal of your opinion). Mostly MS will find out I don’t have a lot money. I play video games too much and on occasion I look at internet porn.

If you’re on Yosemite on a Mac don’t use spotlight then.

VLC solves this problem. Personally I’m glad they did it this way. If people want to feel all warm and fuzzy by paying for MS stuff fine, but now I don’t have to work my way around it and I can still use what I want.

this is about the background image.

there is one, it’s called a local account.
