I know I'm likely to be shunned for this, but I'd love for them to get away from non stop Mario/Zelda titles. There are so many other franchises at their disposal that I just get tired of oh look it's Super Mario bros. repeat.

Played the beta for only an hour last night. So far I do like it. I've always had a thing for Sci-Fi MMOs over fantasy. Yes it's not exactly re-inventing the wheel as far as MMOs go but do you really need to if your game is fun?

For a cheap hardware upgrade with a lot of improvement get a SSD. You can find the Samsung EVO line on sale all the time. I was blown away at the improvement I saw over my regular drive.

Great read. I still pine for some of those great Bullfrog games. I still remember being so impressed as a teenager with theme hospital when it came out. I only wish they'd go back to those fun sim games.

You should consider Phantom of the Paradise on this list as well. It's basically the hipster Rocky Horror. PLUS the music is by Paul Williams who got a grammy nod for the soundtrack. AND it's directed by Brian dePalma

My argument was simply it's cheaper. I spend $10 a month for access. $10 is about 1 album on iTunes. As a music addict even extrapolating that to $120 a year would be about the amount of music I used to buy in one month.
