Uh, last weeks was widely regarded to be a garbage, filler episode that not only sucked but also somehow managed to make Zeb a worse character after it was over.

Disney is really good at peppering in these really complex and good episodes after abysmal ones, stopping people from fully considering not continuing to watch the series.

Yeah, it would be cool for us to see the Kuat drive yards producing ISDs. I'd watch a How It's Made type series about Star Wars things, if we're talking about stuff we wished existed.

Also, to add to this, it's shown that at least Hera, Chopper and the Ghost are still present in a few years during the events of Rogue One. Unless Thrawn is content with just killing the Jedi and finishing off the last of the Lasats, I can't imagine a scenario where Thrawn lives up to his EU glory.

I mean, then don't watch it because it's for kids? I don't know what you hope to achieve by telling people in the comments section who enjoy the show that it's for kids (we already know). Like, what, are you going to do, dissuade us from talking about it or watching it?

Yeah, and how much of it is absolutely amazing or absolutely garbage? The Thor movies are probably the worst ones, but not for lack of trying on Disney's part; they suck by comparison because nobody gives a shit about Thor compared to Captain America or Iron Man.

I guess I meant guerrilla style attack more than terrorist level bombing. The point is, they can't claim anybody is worse than the Empire on the basis of killing somebody else, since they collectively have tens of thousands of kills between slaying battalions of Stormtroopers to destroying ISDs and light

So was The Clone Wars series. That means very little. There are kids shows with more depth and complexity than a lot of shows geared towards adults.

This is how I feel about everything Disney has done since they took over the MCU. Everything sits in an ether between B+ and B- and nothing really stands out that often. That formula is making them trillions of dollars, though.

Last week there was a discussion about how stupid it is for the rebels to have a moral dilemma and call somebody worse than the Empire and this theme continues into this week, where AP-5 and Zeb killed over 37,000 people (source: http://starwars.wikia.com/w… ) with a bomb on the ISD the droid got sent back to. Really

I disagree. Rebels has been mediocre overall with stand out episodes that are pretty good. You can't call something good when like half of the episodes out there are basically filler.

Well, like most series in general, I'm assuming it took a few seasons to find its footing. Problem is, I'm not interested in slogging through two or three garbage seasons of a show that has little to no impact on the movies in order to get some minor obscure references. But I'm also not as big of a fan of the MCU as I

I think Rebels' biggest problem is Disney's apathy towards anything on network TV. Sure, we get stuff like the Netflix Marvel series that blow us out of the water, but then we also have Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D-level nonsense.

My headcanon is that Ezra and Kanan are actually subconsciously channeling Battle Meditation, which makes the crew of the Ghost exceptionally lucky in most scenarios. It also forgives the rest of the rebellion for being so shitty, since they don't often get accompanied by Jedi…or half-Jedi in this case.

Yeah, but this whole comment implies that Modern Family can do arcs or gags that last through multiple episodes, which it cannot.

Yeah I think B is a pretty fair grade for this ep. Cam and Mitch work best when they're interacting with the rest of the cast, as opposed to bickering among themselves in their turbo-flawed relationship.

They don't review Black-ish at all. Last time they did a pseudo review of it, they didn't give it a grade and the article's purpose was to negate people talking about the shows they stopped reviewing in the comments of Modern Family. It was little more than a "stray thoughts" portion of a review.

I thought it was funny when it involved humor other than "haha, minorities speak with accents" like the baby Jesus/baby cheeses joke in one of the first seasons, where she asks the receptionist to buy Jay a box of baby cheeses to eat and she ends up buying a box of baby Jesus in a manger. It's funny when it actually

The biggest problem with this episode, and most overstuffed Modern Family episodes is probably having too many plot lines that just meander about and don't really get solid conclusions. Also I'm really tired of the "Gloria can't speak English" joke. Sofia Vergera must get tired of constantly having her speech and

I find AV club to be really polarized on things. They either love something with a righteous fervor or they hate it with the intensity of a thousand suns. Rebels is kind of in the middle, it sort of gets a pass for being Star Wars and being designed for kids. Something like Modern Family, on the other hand, is just
