Yeah, it’s a rant. The OP mentioned a crumbling Democracy as if it’s only now crumbling because of what Trump’s doing. I was trying to say it started crumbling long before. He’s more like another symptom of the crumbling than the result.

I have neither. I have my wife, a mother that I wish had died instead of my dad, and a therapist. The therapist is pretty good though, she figured out all my bullshit from my childhood (jesus christ, were any of us NOT abused? An uncle and a babysitter for me) and I had been working on that when half of my support…
